Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co's (TSMC) council has authorized $2.89 Billion in spending to enhance ability, the business firm announced, reacting to a transnational chip deficit that has influenced carmakers in specific.
In a quick announcement, the earth's largest contract chipmaker told its board that they had endorsed the expenditure 'to establish sophisticated technology capacity'.
It didn't exaggerate.
The firm this month declared that it schedules to capitalize $100 billion over the successive three years to boost ability at its factories, days after Intel Corp declared a $20 billion proposal to improve its capability.
